Ruffles and Curls Wedding Floral Services Agreement & T&C's 
By submitting below payment of the deposit, the Client agrees to abide by all policies stated in the below T&C's

1. Booking Fee
A non-refundable booking fee of £100 is required to secure your wedding date.

This fee is a reasonable pre-estimate of costs to reserve services and will be deducted from your final invoice.

Your booking is confirmed only once the fee is received, and prices/dates are guaranteed unless otherwise communicated in writing.

2. Quotation & Payment
A written quotation will be provided after your consultation. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

Final adjustments to your order must be made no later than 30 days prior to the wedding.

Full payment is due 14 days before the wedding date via bank transfer, cheque, or cash.

Late payments may result in cancellation of services.

Failure to pay in full by the deadline forfeits your booking, and flowers will not be ordered.

3. Cancellation Policy By Client: The £100 booking fee is non-refundable (as permitted under UK law for reasonable reservation costs).

Cancellations 14 days or less before the wedding forfeit full payment if flowers have been ordered.

Cancellations of individual items after final payment are non-refundable unless mutually agreed in writing.

By Ruffles and Curls:

We reserve the right to cancel for material breach (e.g., non-payment, abusive behaviour, or defamation), with no refunds.

In cases of force majeure (e.g., fire, natural disaster, illness preventing service delivery), all payments will be refunded minus costs already incurred (e.g., perishable goods).

We will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement florist at the client’s expense if cancellation is unavoidable.

4. Flower Availability & Substitutions
All flowers are subject to seasonal availability.

Ruffles and Curls reserves the right to substitute flowers/foliage with alternatives of equal or higher quality (as required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

Specific flower varieties (e.g., peonies, orchids) are not guaranteed.

5. Hire Items (Vases, Glassware, etc.)
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of [£100] is required for hired items, payable 14 days before the wedding date alongside the final balance.

The deposit will be returned within 7 working days after the event, provided all items are returned undamaged and in their original condition.

Ruffles and Curls may deduct costs from the deposit for:

Damage beyond reasonable wear and tear (e.g., cracks, stains, or breakage)

Loss or non-return of items

Cleaning fees for excessive soiling

If repair/replacement costs exceed the deposit, the client agrees to cover the remaining balance.

Ownership: Hired items remain the property of Ruffles and Curls at all times.

6. Photography & Promotion
Ruffles and Curls reserves the right to photograph floral arrangements for promotional use, in compliance with UK GDPR.

Clients may request image exclusion in writing.

7. Liability
Ruffles and Curls is not liable for:

Delays or cancellations due to incorrect delivery addresses provided by the client

Accidental damage caused by hired items (e.g., broken glass) unless due to our negligence

Flower condition after client approval at setup

Statutory Rights: This agreement does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or breach of statutory duty.

8. Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of service delivery, with photographic evidence.

No claims will be accepted after this period.

9. Changes to Terms
Ruffles and Curls may update terms for legal compliance or minor clarifications.

Material changes will be communicated via email and require client consent.

10. Transport Fuel Cost
Ruffles and Curls reserves the right to charge for transport costs where the delivery location exceeds 20 miles from our base. This charge will be calculated at 45p per mile. Any changes to the agreed-upon delivery location after final payment will incur additional transport charges.
